About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President & General Manager for its heavy civil construction business unit in the Baltimore/Washington, DC market. This executive leadership role is pivotal in driving the region's financial performance, operations, business development, and long-term growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the unit's P&L, leading a large operational team to ensure project delivery meets the highest standards, and will be at the forefront of business development, particularly in the area of alternative delivery methods. Key responsibilities include establishing and executing business plans, maintaining client and stakeholder relationships, and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The role demands a seasoned professional with a strong background in heavy civil and infrastructure construction, particularly in the areas of underground utilities, water, and wastewater.
