Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Starting at $47,500/yearly

• Located in Irving, TX

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety and loss prevention operations within the distribution center

• Develop and conduct OSHA and company safety training programs

• Perform job hazard analyses and implement safe work practices

• Conduct routine facility safety inspections and implement corrective actions

• Maintain accident reports, inspection records, safety logs, and training documentation

• Investigate workplace accidents and coordinate return-to-work programs

• Administer and oversee workers' compensation activities

• Partner with staffing agencies to manage drug and alcohol testing programs

• Conduct regular safety meetings and reinforce workplace safety policies

• Interpret safety regulations and develop new procedures as needed

• Perform Job Safety Audits and recommend process improvements

• Assist departments with accident prevention initiatives and safety planning

• Investigate employee safety concerns and recommend corrective actions

• Prepare weekly and monthly safety reports for leadership

• Compile and maintain safety training materials and compliance records

• Collaborate with Loss Prevention to support facility security and operational goals

• Report facility and equipment conditions requiring maintenance or repair

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience required

• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety programs, First Aid, CPR, and OSHA 500 standards preferred

• Experience managing workers' compensation programs and injury management

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)

• Knowledge of Hazard Communication Standards

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to interact effectively with employees, management, and outside agencies

• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs, climb stairs, and work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
