Overview Hospitality and Leisure Associate Attorney (2-4 Years) – Global Real Estate Practice | Chicago, IL Key Responsibilities Handle sophisticated hospitality and leisure real estate transactions across domestic and international markets Draft, review, and negotiate letters of intent, purchase agreements, and sale documentation Advise clients on commercial real estate financings and negotiate loan documents Manage transactions from due diligence through closing Conduct comprehensive due diligence reviews related to commercial real estate acquisitions and financings Coordinate transactional matters involving hospitality, leisure, and commercial real estate assets Work directly with clients, lenders, and senior attorneys on high-value transactions Assist with all aspects of commercial transactional and financing matters Handle fast-paced transactional work involving complex commercial real estate portfolios Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in commercial real estate or transactional law Previous law firm experience preferred Experience drafting and negotiating transactional documents Strong organizational and project management abilities Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Licensed and in good standing in the applicable state of practice Excellent academic credentials required Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school required Certifications Licensed to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction Skills Strong drafting and negotiation skills Experience managing commercial real estate transactions independently Advanced analytical and organizational abilities Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills Ability to efficiently manage competing transactional deadlines Collaborative approach and commitment to teamwork Experience handling sophisticated financing and acquisition matters Culture & Firm Appeal This opportunity is with a globally recognized law firm known for its broad global platform, sophisticated transactional practice, and cross-border capabilities.
