Sr Entitlements Manager

Senior Entitlements Manager Lennar is one of the nation's leading homebuilders, dedicated to building quality homes and providing exceptional customer service. This role manages the entitlement process for development projects aligned with the company's land acquisition strategy. Responsibilities Oversee entitlements for all new acquisition projects and existing communities, including land use, zoning, site plan, and plat approvals. Run the Greenfolder process for all entitlements, approvals, and title matters. Manage consultants, outside counsel, engineers, and architects during the planning of new residential development and acquisition of all required governmental approvals. Coordinate with various divisions to secure approvals for new community development. Lead, coach, mentor, and manage team members to ensure high performance and efficient solutions that create organizational value. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Four‑year degree in Land/Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; or a JD in Real Estate. Minimum 5 years experience managing entitlement and permitting for real‑estate developments. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheet analysis, project scheduling and data management software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with public officials, regulatory agencies, and the public. Initiative, ability to work with minimal supervision, detail‑oriented, and problem‑solving capabilities. Additional Requirements Experience with community entitlement and homebuilding processes; some public agency experience required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred in construction management, urban design, business, engineering or related field. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.). Excellent analytical, writing, and organizational capabilities. Ability to meet multiple deadlines concurrently and accept constructive feedback. Team player. Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements Regular, in‑person attendance at company communities, job sites, and offices during standard work hours. Must be able to work more than eight hours per day in confined quarters of a construction trailer. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move or carry equipment that may exceed 50 pounds. Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment; finger dexterity required to use a computer keyboard and calculator.
