Cage Cashier FT

SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting Guests with transactions, balancing various bank drawers within the Cage Department and maintaining accuracy throughout all phases of a balancing process.Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)Balances assigned bank accurately.Cashes gaming tokens and coins into money for Guests in a courteous, timely manner.Cashes travelers’ checks for currency.Redeems Guests’ scripts, coupons and receipts for currency.Maintains a working knowledge of the facilities, as well as special events on property, in order to advise Guests as necessary.Assists other Cashiers in the Cage when needed.Facilitates the flow of information by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.Remains accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.Keeps up with a fast-paced atmosphere and works under pressure.Provides courteous service to all Team Members and Guests.Performs other duties as assigned.Mandatory Requirements:Must possess a high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.Must have money-handling experience and the ability to operate a 10-key.Must be able to pass a math test.Must possess excellent communication and writing skillsMust maintain a high level of confidentiality.Must be able to maintain a passing score on Title 31 and SARC Program tests.Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.Must be at least 21 years old.Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.Physical Demands:Must be physically able to perform all job requirements.Must be able to lift 45 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.Work Environment:Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment.Must be able to work in a noisy environment.Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events. #J-18808-Ljbffr Black-Oak-Casino
