  Job Title:  Warehouse   Supervisor-3rd Shift

Summary: This position is responsible for overseeing the warehouse team and all functions within the warehouse. 

Essential Functions of the Job:  The essential functions of this job require the person, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the following: 

• Use the assigned workforce efficiently by minimizing down time and balancing multiple job operations.
• Provide training and be responsible for the quality of the output of the team.
• Provide problem-solving assistance to all team members to meet the warehouse deadlines.
• Provide leadership and guidance between team members and pursue resolution of related problems. 
• Observe and understand the capabilities of team members, as they work alone and with others, to optimize individual styles for maximum efficiency during the inventory control process. 
• Coach problem team members with behaviors and styles on maintaining a positive team environment.
• Manage staffing hours to the workload to minimize overtime and maximize efficiency.
• Lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Respond promptly to emails and other correspondence 
• Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, listen and get clarification, and respond well to questions. 
• Prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently and organize or schedule other people and their tasks.
• Follow instructions, respond to management direction, take responsibility for one’s own actions and keep commitments.
• Volunteer readily and ask for or offer help when needed.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Manage team members ADP to ensure proper punches and time off is accounted for
• Perform all other duties as assigned. 

Recommended Education and/or Experience  

High School Diploma or Equivalent; or minimum five years’ related experience.
