Sales Representative

Working for Substrata as a Sales Representative, you will have consistent interaction with current and future clients via phone, email, and text to build relationships and close sales. You will be responsible for follow-up on all inbound leads as assigned, as well as completing outbound cold calls to prospective clients. Some travel may be required for the client on-site meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Consistently look for opportunities to improve sales effectiveness and efficiencies.
• Follow up on all assigned inbound and outbound leads
• Achieve or exceed annual, quarterly, and monthly goals and objectives including but not limited to, unit sales, revenue volume, margins, sales cycle times, customer growth, and cost controls for your market segments.
• Work closely with the Sales Team Lead, Sales Analyst, Marketing and Operations teams within assigned market segments to maximize sales volume, and customer satisfaction.
• Compile and analyze data to find trends and build a solid and healthy pipeline.
• Attend trade shows or other sales/industry events as needed

Qualifications

• Education: BA degree in Business or related field
• Experience: 3 years' B2B sales experience
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, organizational, and time management skills
• Have a strong work ethic and self-motivation, with a result-oriented and driven to succeed mindset
• Must be organized and possess self-discipline to follow through with sales cycles and sales methodology.
• Technically proficient, knowledge of MS Office and/or Google Workspace
• Experience using a CRM, HubSpot preferred

KPIs

• Monthly Sales Target
• Quarterly Quota
• Prospecting Meetings - 20 per month
• Non-homeowner Deals Created - 13 per month
• Opportunity Meetings - 26 per month
• Soil Evaluation Meetings - 8 per month
• Number of Deals Entering S4 - 8 per month

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
• Stationary position, must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• 10-15% travel
• Driving to remote locations for as much as 6 hours in a day
• Outdoors in harsh conditions such as extreme heat or extreme cold while on-site.
