Overview We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Registered Nurse with strong Med/Surg nursing experience for a 13-week travel nurse assignment in Fort Worth, TX . In this inpatient medical-surgical setting, you will care for a diverse patient population, collaborate with an experienced care team, and contribute to excellent patient outcomes in a supportive environment. Job Details Specialty: Med/Surg Registered Nurse Position Type: Travel RN assignment Setting: Inpatient medical-surgical unit Location: Fort Worth, TX 76177 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Hours per Week: 36 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460-$1,540 EMR: Meditech Floating: May float to other medical-surgical units as needed Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience Current BLS certification Current ACLS certification Basic EKG interpretation skills Comfort working in a collaborative, team-based healthcare environment Meditech experience preferred Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients in an inpatient setting Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status Administer medications and treatments according to clinical protocols Perform assessments, document care accurately, and maintain EMR charting standards Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and support teams to coordinate care Participate in shift huddles and maintain strong communication throughout the assignment Support unit flow while maintaining an excellent patient experience Adapt to floating assignments within other Med/Surg areas as needed Apply now for this Med/Surg Registered Nurse travel opportunity in Fort Worth, Texas, and join a healthcare team committed to quality patient care.
