Customer Support Technician (IT Desktop Support – Advanced)
Boca Raton, FL (Onsite)
12-Month Contract | 2 Openings

What You’ll Be DoingIn this role, you’ll provide Tier I technical support while also handling more advanced IT issues and working closely with the broader IT team.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:- Providing in-person and remote support for hardware and software issues
- Troubleshooting computers, systems, and network-related problems
- Logging and tracking issues through a ticketing system
- Assisting with installations, configurations, and system updates
- Supporting audiovisual (AV) and video conferencing tools (Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc.)
- Restoring files and helping with system access issues
- Escalating complex issues to higher-level support when needed
- Supporting IT projects and infrastructure initiatives
- Documenting processes and solutions for future reference
- Occasionally traveling to remote locations for support

- Experience with customer service and IT support

- Experience using a ticketing system
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working both independently and on a team
- Windows 10 and Microsoft Office
- Active Directory
- Desktop support / help desk environments
- AV (Audiovisual) support ( required )
- Basic networking concepts
- Experience with scripting or automation
- Knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) or Qualys
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or technical certification in IT-related field (preferred)
- IT enterprise experience (preferred)
- At least 2 years of customer service experience
- Entry to intermediate-level IT support experience
- A positive, service-focused mindset
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to stay calm and effective in high-pressure situations
- Willingness to learn and grow in a technical environment
- Business casual environment
- Onsite in Boca Raton, FL
- Hours between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
- Participation in after-hours/on-call rotation (evenings & weekends)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Support enterprise-wide hardware and software systems
- Deliver top-tier customer service with clear communication
- Handle installations, troubleshooting, and documentation
- Manage tickets and track recurring issues
- Provide AV and meeting support
- Assist with infrastructure and technical escalations

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
