Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist for a permanent role with an area hospital in Portsmouth, VA. The Radiologic Technologist will perform a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensure patient safety, and maintain patient comfort throughout imaging processes. The role requires collaboration with physicians, technologists, and support staff to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Responsibilities include patient positioning, operation and maintenance of imaging equipment, image quality assessment, accurate documentation, and adherence to radiation safety protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registration and accreditation by ARRT. State licensure if applicable and required by law.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience as a Radiologic Technologist or X-Ray Technologist preferred.
• Experience working in a hospital radiology or diagnostic imaging department preferred.
• Ability to work a 4x10 shift pattern. Schedule details indicate a 40-hour expected work week.
