Senior Manager - Actuarial Product Umbrella

Responsibilities Strategic: Lead strategic planning, manage execution and completion of assigned initiatives, propose change and innovation, and participate in cross‑unit and Enterprise initiatives. Operational: Conduct actuarial and analytic analyses, solve business problems, drive day‑to‑day execution within the unit, and provide independent decisions and analytical guidance. Communication: Communicate analysis, project results, and other business initiatives to staff, peers, and business partners; prepare formal written communications such as memos or presentations; lead or actively participate in group discussions. Talent: Directly manage 1 to 2 individual contributors or interns, oversee performance management, development, and onboarding; support training and skill‑development initiatives within the unit and the Enterprise. Qualifications College degree in a STEM related field or equivalent experience. Associate Actuarial Credential. 5+ years of quantitative analysis experience; 3 years minimum for candidate seeking this role. Strong PC skills (MS Office) and programming skills (SQL, SAS). Strong understanding of insurance products and industry and demonstrated ability in actuarial and quantitative analysis and statistical concepts. Management experience with leadership skills in project ownership, decisiveness, and business acumen in underwriting, products, reinsurance, distribution, sales, operations, risk control, claim, and financials. Ability to build and maintain professional business relationships across the organization and to manage expectations for small projects. Must Have Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, along with at least 3 years of quantitative analysis experience.
