Your future role at a glance Location: Hoffman Estates, IL Facility: Ascension Saint Alexius Department: Neurology Schedule: Weekendshift l Full-time Salary range: $39.75 - 56.11 per hour How you'll make an impact in this role Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care to neurology patients, performing comprehensive neuro assessments and monitoring for changes in neurological status. Develop and implement individualized care plans, accurately document patient condition, and respond promptly to acute events such as stroke symptoms or seizure activity. Coordinate interdisciplinary care with neurologists, rehab services, and case management to ensure seamless treatment progression and safe discharge planning. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. What additional requirements you'll need One year RN acute care experience.
