Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a board-certified MD in urology for hospital and outpatient clinic duties at a hospital-based practice in Pendleton, Oregon. The role involves performing a range of urological procedures, managing clinic patients, and providing on-call coverage for hospital emergencies and admissions.

Opportunity Highlights

• Location: Pendleton, Oregon
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7am-2pm surgery, 3pm-5pm clinic; Friday clinic only, 8am-5pm, no call
• Coverage: 1-2 weeks per month, 24-hour call Monday-Thursday
• Duration: Up to 12 months starting December
• Setting: Hospital and physician clinic environment
• Procedures: Circumcision, orchiopexy, cystoscopy with various interventions, Urolift, Dorsal SLIT, cyst mass excision, condyloma removal, device explant, hydrocelectomy, laser lithotripsy, bladder irrigation, prostate biopsy, pediatric orchiopexy, penile biopsy, transvaginal procedures, sacral neurostimulator placement, transurethral resection, TURBT, ureteroscopy, urethral excision, and TOT sling placement
• Support Staff: Clinic MA, perioperative nurses, RN in clinic
• EMR: Meditech, eClinicalWorks
• Trauma Level: IV

Clinical Scope

• Conducts outpatient urological procedures and manages clinic patients
• Handles hospital emergencies and admissions during on-call periods
• Performs surgeries within scope of practice, including minimally invasive and outpatient procedures
• Manages adult and pediatric urology cases

Requirements

• MD degree
• Active Oregon medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• DEA registration (if applicable)
• Experience with procedures listed above
