SUMMARY
The Sr HR Business Partner position is part of an Onsite HR Team with a particular focus on the delivery of a full spectrum of human resource programs. This HR Business Partner will be responsible for providing HR leadership and guidance to the Contract Logistics/Solutions divisions in the state of Texas. This position will serve as a HRBP to the travel teams and will sit inside of one of our warehouse locations in Dallas-Fort Worth area. The Sr HRBP will oversee the administration of hiring, retention, termination, personnel records, legal compliance, compensation, benefits, payroll, orientation and training as well as additional administrative functions. This role will have a heightened focus on recruiting strategies and onboarding/new hire practices. The Sr HRBP will be responsible for ensuring that the needs of the travel teams are being met and work to appropriate his/her time accordingly in coordination with site management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implements,interpretsand administers personnel and labor relations programs, projects, tasks, or initiatives that align with company goals and objectives.Responsibilities include employment, employee relations, labor relations, compensation administration, performance management, benefits, recognition, training and planning of staffing requirements and workforce communications.Must be visible and accessible.Mayinclude site visits at various timesof the year.
Effectively administers existing programsin accordance withpolicies and procedures including Equal Employment Opportunity, and Affirmative Action compliance.Manages monitors and ensures administration and compliance with company policies, practices and procedures that affect the organizational unit such as employee safety, workers'compensation,and OSHA compliance.
Provides leadership and guidance to employees, peers, and management on workforce goals andobjectivesby sharing best practices.Provides clear, effective,timely,and constructive feedback on interviewing techniques, effective labor relations, employee communications, new hire orientation, and training programs.Responsible for supervisory training, supervisory skill improvement, and excellence in supervision on a continuum.
Recruites, Hires, trains, evaluates, and terminates assigned personnel.Provides clear, effective, timely and constructive feedback to employees, peers and management on interviewing techniques, effective labor relations, employee communications, new hire orientation, and training programs.
Manages human resource administration to ensure the effective implementation of proceduresregardingnew hires, promotions, transfers, leaves of absence, grievanceprocess, and terminations.Ensuresthat personnel files are properlymaintained.
Manages all specific unit activities including frequent contact with inter-organizational and outside agency representatives concerning operations or scheduling of specific phases of projects or programs.Participates in meetings with internal and external representatives concerning specific human resource projects oroperationsincluding due diligence and assimilation processes.
Usesinternal-external customer feedback tomonitorthe status of projects and toidentifyproblems with work processes.Confirms mutual understanding with customers to develop and implement process improvements that improve the quality,quantityand timeliness of assigned tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor'sdegree in human resources, business ora relatedfield and7years' experience working in Human Resource field required or equivalent combination of education and work experience.Must havestrong employee relations and performance management experience - minimum 5 years. Must have strong recruitment experience - minimum 5 years.
Must have minimum 2 years freight forwarding/Transportation industry experience or experience in a 4PL/Contract Logistics environment.

TRAVEL
Travel will be necessary up to 30% of the time, domestically and generally by airplane.
For this position, the expected base pay range is $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
