F-15 Senior Manufacturing Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Manager (Level L) to support the F-15 Program in Berkeley, MO! This is an exciting opportunity to manage employees and first line managers. Position Responsibilities: Effectively lead teams and multi-disciplined support staff to positively impact safety, quality, delivery, and cost Drive continuous improvement, standard work, and best practices within the Production System Drive for Safety improvements, defection reduction, and foreign object debris (FOD) prevention to ensure Product Safety Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Support affordability by driving unit hour reductions and innovation implementation Manages employees and other managers performing activities within manufacturing disciplines Deploy Lean principles in accordance to the Boeing Production System Conveys organizational messages to facilitate the accomplishment of organizational goals and monitors performance metrics Proactively communicates with leadership team, peers (e.g., fellow senior managers) and customers Team with Quality on inspection approach, quality initiatives, corrective and preventative actions, and DCMA engagement/strategy Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Creates a culture of continuous improvement Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role 5+ years of experience driving improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, innovation, and people on production and development programs 5+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional and Lean+ projects 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment Experience with schedule and budget management, stakeholder communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and requirements are met Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree or higher Experience with Boeing Manufacturing Operations Functions (Manufacturing, Materials Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Operations) Demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships based on trust and integrity with internal and external stakeholders Direct applicable knowledge of Production Systems development and “Start Right" methodologies Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
