Position Summary

LADACIN is seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals to join our Residential Services team in Neptune, NJ. Full-time and part-time positions are available. This position provides direct support to adults with developmental and multiple physical disabilities while promoting independence, dignity, and community inclusion in a residential group home setting. Paid training is provided for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct care and support to adults with developmental and multiple physical disabilities
• Assist individuals with activities of daily living, personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks while promoting independence and dignity
• Support community outings, recreational activities, and individualized goals
• Transport residents to appointments and community activities as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete required reports
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served
• Work collaboratively with coworkers, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Comply with Agency Policies and Procedures and Code of Ethics
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid New Jersey driver's license required
• Must be at least 21 years of age to meet agency driving requirements
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, but not required
• Home Health Aides (HHA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Must pass required background clearances and screenings
