Field Service Engineer - Sioux Falls

Salary: $67,000 - 107,000 per year Requirements:

• We require an associates or bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent military education, or participation in our formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program, or a high school diploma/GED plus 4 or more years of experience servicing electronic equipment.
• We need experience with web applications and the Microsoft Office suite.
• We require compliance with our standard background screening, including a post-offer drug test, as well as any customer access requirements such as proof of immunizations and additional screenings where applicable.
• We require legal authorization to work in the U.S. and do not sponsor work visas for this role, now or in the future.
• We require a valid drivers license, which must be maintained.
• We require the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs unassisted and to perform frequent bending, stooping, twisting, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and prolonged sitting or standing.
• We require good reach, neck mobility, manual dexterity, and vision capabilities including color, close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
• We require willingness to work after hours or participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends, when needed.

• We perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance across one or more equipment modalities.
• We follow all Field Modification Instructions and Instrument Service Information bulletins.
• We learn troubleshooting, repair, and equipment installation techniques alongside experienced field engineers, both onsite and remotely.
• We assist experienced field engineers with equipment installation and basic service repairs on designated equipment.
• We communicate effectively with teammates, colleagues, and customers to support issue resolution and follow-up.
• We recommend value-added services that help customers operate more efficiently.
• We maintain customer service logs, internal service records, repair parts orders, and cycle-time management in a timely manner.
• We use our escalation process and coordinate with regional and national support to create corrective action plans that resolve customer issues quickly.
• We serve as part of the account community for key accounts.
• We engage commercial counterparts, identify sales leads, support contract renewals, and help promote and implement revenue programs.
• We build strong customer relationships and focus on delivering service excellence and customer satisfaction.
• We stay current on competitor activity and market trends.
• We answer service calls independently within one year of employment.
