AC Corporation is seeking a President to lead and scale a complex commercial and industrial MEP operation during a period of continued growth and transformation.This executive leader will oversee day-to-day business operations across construction, project execution, estimating, procurement, fabrication, field operations, safety, and customer relationships while maintaining full P&L accountability for the business.The President will play a visible leadership role across the organization and market. This individual must bring operational discipline, financial acumen, strong people leadership, and deep commercial mechanical contracting expertise. The position is based in Greensboro, North Carolina and reports directly to executive leadership within Crete United.What You’ll OwnFull operational leadership for a large-scale commercial and industrial MEP businessAccountability for revenue growth, profitability, operational performance, and customer satisfactionLeadership of project management, estimating, field execution, fabrication, purchasing, safety, and operational support functionsDevelopment and execution of strategic growth initiatives across construction and service operationsFinancial leadership including budgeting, forecasting, labor productivity, cost controls, backlog management, and monthly operational reviewsBuilding and maintaining a high-performance, accountability-driven cultureRecruiting, developing, and retaining top operational and field talentStrengthening relationships with owners, general contractors, industrial clients, vendors, and strategic partnersDriving operational improvements across systems, processes, pricing strategy, project execution, scheduling, and workforce planningSupporting and reinforcing a world-class safety culture across all operations and job sitesPartnering closely with Crete United leadership and peer operating companies across the networkWhat We’re Looking ForProven executive or senior operational leadership experience within commercial or industrial MEP contractingStrong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, piping, electrical, fabrication, and building systems operationsDemonstrated success leading large operational teams and developing leadersTrack record of driving profitability, operational excellence, and sustainable growthExperience managing large-scale commercial or industrial construction projectsStrong financial and business acumen with prior P&L responsibilityAbility to lead through growth, change, and organizational transitionTechnical foundation gained through field, project management, engineering, estimating, or operational leadership experienceStrong communication and relationship-building skillsExperience working across multiple departments and balancing strategic leadership with operational executionPreferred Background15+ years of leadership experience within commercial MEP contracting or related industriesExperience leading teams of 50+ employees across field and office operationsDesign-build experience strongly preferredMechanical or electrical engineering background is a plusExperience in commercial, healthcare, industrial, institutional, or mission-critical construction environments preferredCompensation & BenefitsAC Corporation offers a highly competitive executive compensation package including:Highly competitive base salaryPerformance-based bonus opportunityComprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage401(k) with company matchExecutive leadership growth opportunities within the Crete United networkLong-term career stability with a respected, growth-oriented organizationWhy This Role MattersThis is not a maintenance leadership role.
