Position of Work:

This position will be responsible for the preparation, execution, and oversight of series productions for Winnercomm which includes series for Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel, and WFN

Position Responsibilities

• Responsible for pre-production/creative/budgeting and formatting of series.
• Oversee planning and timeline of production.
• Oversee/Direct the production on location.
• Oversee post-production and delivery of broadcast series.
• Understanding of technical components of the production.
• Full understanding of roles on the production team.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

• Position will require travel in typical Outdoor Situations (Hunting/Fishing/Adventure)

Qualifications:

• Minimum
  1. BS/BA degree in Media Production or related field
  2. 10+ years’ experience in field
  3. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

• Preferred
  1. Excellent communication skills, including scriptwriting and storytelling.
  2. Proficiency with Avid Media Composer.
  3. Self-starter: able to develop an approach to problem-solving with minimal direction and to find innovative solutions to challenges that are encountered while pursuing an end goal.
  4. Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.

Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a group to accomplish goals.
• Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Adept at problem solving and critical thinking.
• Able to juggle multiple projects at once and to exercise good judgment when confronted with conflicting timelines and multiple requests for quick turnarounds.
• Must be self-motivated.
