Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level IV/Surgical NICU night block position requiring PALS certification and GA or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in a Level IV/Surgical Neonatal Intensive Care Unit within a hospital setting
• Treats neonatal diagnoses including CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, pulmonary hypertension, and pre/peri/post-op cases
• Weekend block night shift schedule covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Open to floating to other units
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current PALS certification required, NRP preferred
• Level IV/Surgical NICU experience required
• Must pass a nicotine test along with drug screen, no exceptions
• Flu vaccine required during flu season, no medical or religious exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level IV surgical NICU
• Facility is nicotine-free
• Must work at least one holiday if it falls during the contract period
