Monitors process, component and product quality problems and escalates to supervisor. May provide functional guidance or demonstrate work methods to new employees. Detailed Description Performs and reports in process and product first layer assessment. Performs activities identified related to the Key process and product characteristics. Supports and verifies the identification and processing of internal non-conforming materials for proper disposition. Ensures that the implemented changes and corrective action to rectify non-conformance issues are respected in the manufacturing line. Performs First Article Assessment activities. Supports internal, industry and customer audits as required. Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality Processes. Supports and performs the RMA quality related activities. Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Ability to exercise good judgment in providing quality guidance. Ability to effectively communicate with internal customers. Knowledge and understanding of quality and manufacturing standards. Good knowledge of computer applications and the ability to perform tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel. Good knowledge and understanding of shop floor control and quality management documentation systems such as Spectrum Pro, EtQ. Skills for evaluating, diagnosing and solving problems encountered in the manufacturing. Well organized. Physical Demands Duties of this position are performed in a manufacturing environment with occasional to frequent exposure to elements such as noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, etc. Duties of the position require periodic light physical effort and exertion including prolonged repetitive motions requiring manual dexterity and precise hand/eye coordination, sitting and or standing in confined workspaces, using tools and equipment, and moving and handling materials. Duties may require periodic heavy manual effort including lifting objects. Duties require extended periods of sustained visual concentration on detailed documentation and product assemblies. Above demands are carried out within the local existing Health and Safety guidelines Typical Experience 1 to 3 years of related experienc;Experience in similar job roles Typical Education High school diploma and additional courses after high school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience and a commitment towards further / additional education.
