Radiology Ltd. is seeking a full time Mammography Technologist to join our dynamic team in our La Cholla location. We have employee events throughout the year for all staff, an annual family picnic as well as group hikes, walks and community service events.What you'll be doing:We are looking for a dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our team in bringing life saving breast cancer screenings to our patients. Ensures a high level of quality and service is delivered to all organizational patients. Comfortable working independently without supervision, have excellent problem-solving skills. Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM Responsibilities include:Customer Service - Ability to provide excellent patient care, acting with professionalism and empathy at all times.Provide excellent patient care in a timely manner, communicate with radiologists and work efficiently with team members.Responsible for performing precise, prompt and high quality Mammography examinations.Selects appropriate imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware, enters and monitors patient data.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Performs a variety of tasks and works under general supervision.Qualifications and RequirementsAt least 2 years of experience as a technologist preferredSuperior communication skillsExcellent customer service skills, always putting the patient firstMust be able to manage time in a productive manner within the guidelines of the departmentThe applicant must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic TechnologyMust be certified in mammography, possess ARRT credentials and a current Arizona State LicensureBreast ultrasound experience helpful.
