Java Backend Developer

Salary: $49,500 - 69,500 per year Requirements:
- At least 10 years of software development experience, with strong Core Java expertise; the posting also lists a minimum of 6+ years of experience.
- Strong experience with Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and distributed applications.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, multithreading, and system design.
- Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins/CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and technical leadership skills.
- Banking or financial services experience is highly desirable.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud technologies is a plus.
- Design and develop scalable Java/Spring Boot applications and RESTful microservices.
- Contribute to application architecture, technical design, coding, testing, and production support.
- Write secure, maintainable, high-quality code in line with enterprise standards.
- Build automated unit and integration tests, and support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and improve application performance.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, and onshore and offshore development teams.
- Take part in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions, and mentor junior developers.
