Java Backend Developer

Salary: $120,000 - 160,000 per year Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience developing internet-scale solutions, primarily with Java, Spring Boot, and NoSQL databases
- Proficiency with Java 11 features, including lambdas, streams, CompletableFuture, Optional, and generics
- Experience with Spring Boot, WebFlux, Reactor 3, Spring Data, and REST
- Knowledge of functional and reactive programming in Java
- Experience with test-driven development
- Experience building reactive REST APIs with Spring Boot 2.0 and using the OpenAPI (Swagger) specification
- Ability to design database schemas and indexes and optimize queries
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jaeger, and Prometheus
- Familiarity with modern software engineering tools, including Git workflows, Gradle, load-testing tools, and mocking frameworks
- Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka and MQ
- Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field
- Write clean, high-quality code
- Conduct peer code reviews and architecture reviews
