Project ManagerJob Location: Windsor / Stratford, CTJob Type: Contract to HireDescription:Experience managing large technology engagements or operations groupsExperience managing cost, schedule and performance for SDLC deployment or application management projectA solid understanding and delivery experience with all phases of the software development lifecycleExperience in implementing large-scale custom application development and/or systems integration projects in one or more phases of the software development lifecycleExperience working with offshore team who support development and testingExperience meeting with business owners and performing system analysisExperience creating project charters and/or statement of workExperience working with business users to elicit requirements, writing functional and technical specificationsExperience in recognizing business problems and recommending/developing solutionsAbility to work independently and manage multiple task assignments for projects and internal operationsStrong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgmentProject management experience preferably with a PMPNice to Have Skills:Knowledge of continuous improvementKnowledge of export regulationsExperience in consulting modelExperience planning or supporting deployments
