Float Certified Medical Assistant

Job Description Daily Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Shift: Full time Day (United States of America) Responsibilities Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts. Assist with treatments ordered by the provider under supervision. Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations. Perform basic clerical duties, including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing. Order and stock supplies, ensuring a clean and orderly environment. Document provider encounters with patients, including diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions. Transcribe patient orders for laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications. Provide patient education and explanations of risks and benefits. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to perform procedures and treatments. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all patient interactions and medical procedures. Ensure compliance with clinical policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: High School Grad or Equiv – Required. Work Experience: Customer service experience in medical office – Preferred. Licenses and Certifications Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) – Required. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Required. Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) – Required. Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) – Required. National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) – Required. Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) – Required. Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) – Required.
