Robust benefits package including 100% paid employee health, dental and vision options! 100% Employer Paid Life Insurance for Employees 401K With Employer Match Product Discounts Much more!What will you do as a Maintenance Mechanic?As part of the Operations Team, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting and providing immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines and facilitating change-over.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.Overhaul and install new equipment.Rebuild and fabricate parts.Perform facility maintenance and maintain clean and safe work area.Generate parts request to ensure adequate inventory.Generate and complete work orders as assigned.Perform and/or assist with equipment change-overs and production line set ups.Job Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to follow equipment manufacturer's specifications.Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams.Mechanical skills.Ability to diagnose problems and formulate solutions on production machinery and building mechanical systems.Electrical problem diagnosis and repair.Welding skills, construction abilities, plumbing and mechanical system repair.Adaptability – Ability to adapt to change in the workplace.Communication – Ability to effectively, clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing.Decision Making – Display willingness to make critical decisions while following company practices.Enthusiasm – Ability to bring energy to the day to day as well as long-term tasks and plans.Judgment – Display willingness to make timely decisions and exhibit sound and accurate judgment.Planning & Organizing – Ability to prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently and develop realistic action plans.Reliability – Demonstrate regular attendance and availability to staff and management.Quality Management – Demonstrate commitment to improve and promote quality in all operating areas.Safety & Security – Promote and personally observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly.Honesty, Integrity, Trust & Respect – Must be seen as truthful and credible and exhibit respectful behavior in all actions representing the company.RequirementsEducation and ExperienceRefrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational certification preferred.1-5 years of industrial maintenance experience required.1+ years of mechanical/electrical experience preferred.Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred.Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment preferred.Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.Basic computer skills.Programmable Logic Control (PLC) & Human Machine Interface (HMI) knowledge preferred.Knowledge of boiler systems, high and low pressure air systems preferred.Training RequirementsContinuing education to maintain any certifications held and a current working knowledge of new technologies related to our business.New Hire Orientation.Company's Inter-Active Safety Training.Diversity & Harassment Training.Physical DemandsWork environment; must be able to work standing for long periods of time. Maintenance work involves but is not limited to heights, confined space, and outdoors.Ability to lift, push, pull, and pry up to 75 lbs.Work involves walking, talking and hearing, using hands to handle, feel or operate objects. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to focus when working on small components.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Hearing protection dependent on specified areas.Face shield and gloves mandatory while filling CO2.Hair nets required while working in production area.Safety glasses.Welding hood and other welding related protective gear.Fall protection.Hard hat.Work EnvironmentThe noise level in the work environment can be moderately noisy due to manufacturing and/or warehousing equipment in operation.
