Drafter Full time hourly nonexempt Indirect Houston, TX, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 1369 1.0 SUMMARY OF DUTIES The Drafter will be primarily responsible for the creation of 2D P&ID drawings for midstream oil and gas production using CADWorx P&ID. 2.0 REPORTS TO / SUPERVISES Reports To: Design Manager 3.0 RESPONSIBILITIES This position will have the following general/minimum responsibilities: Develop 2D P&ID’s base on existing design and/or new designs. Interpret redlines from the engineering team to incorporate into existing or new P&ID’s Utilize custom CUI menus, LISP routines and drafting standards. 4.0 EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE The following education, experience and knowledge are preferred for this position: Basic understanding of AUTOCAD, CADWorx P&ID, Vault. Working knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.. Ability to work independently and collaborate with engineering and design teams. Ability to work multiple tasks with limited supervision to deliver assignments on or before their respective due dates. Understanding of drafting standards and quality requirements. 5.0 WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Occasional trips to shop environments which may include exposure to dust, dirt and forklift traffic. Frequently sitting and operating a computer.
