Job Overview We are looking for a Maintenance Engineering Supervisor with a strong background in hotel/resort maintenance. The role focuses on ensuring the operational integrity of all mechanical equipment and overseeing maintenance activities. Your Role Respond to guest maintenance requests and resolve them efficiently. Hire new employees and recommend promotions within Property Operations. Train, motivate, and support subordinate staff to ensure quality service. Counsel, coach, discipline, and document staff performance. Recognize and reward superior performance. Direct and supervise staff in Property Operations. Set work schedules based on skill and workload. Organize and participate in meetings, maintaining records and data related to Property Operations. Assist with budget analysis and capital plan monitoring. Manage engineering supplies, inventory, and purchase orders. Coordinate with outside contractors. Ensure correct use of office equipment, EMS systems, and Life Safety Systems (training will be provided). What We’re Looking For Vocational or technical training preferred. At least two years of experience in a similar hospitality position. Previous supervisory experience. Ability to read and interpret HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing blueprints. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Universal refrigerant license. Ability to read wire and schematic diagrams. Ability to properly use an electrical meter. Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, and push/pull during shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Compensation Hourly rate: $57.65.
