Partners in Change Marketing & Community Outreach Specialist

Partners in Change (PIC) takes coaching's track record of success for executives and brings that to adults in poverty, empowering them to change the trajectory of their lives. PIC pairs trained volunteer coaches with adults pursuing personal and professional goals, talking weekly for a year as one-to-one partners in their success. Fully realized, Partners in Change seeks to deploy a critical mass of coaches and create a tipping point in Atlanta’s efforts to reduce poverty. As PIC’s Marketing and Community Outreach Specialist VISTA, you will build upon and expand the marketing and outreach efforts at PIC. You will develop a cohesive brand management & marketing strategy, and manage social media platforms to increase community awareness and support. This will build PIC capacity for financial support and its recruitment of volunteer coaches and the community members it serves. Your support will also strengthen PIC’s rapport with and understanding of the communities we serve, increase community involvement in our program, and enhance PIC’s relationships with our partner organizations. You will be part of designing the growth and larger impact of this innovative non‑profit promoting an asset‑focused approach to human service. You will be led by a diverse management team possessing a wealth of experience in Atlanta community and nonprofit organizations. You will gain ongoing professional development as you participate in monthly Team Meetings and 1‑1 meetings with staff leadership, coach and member trainings, and community events as we support our coaching teams. You gain valuable experience and knowledge from your interactions with our partner organizations and with individual community members. You will be at the heart of all we are doing, constantly growing as you support PIC’s long‑term vision to enable personal, social, and economic upward mobility and substantially impact poverty in our communities. Member Duties Create and distribute communications to bring awareness of PIC’s free life coaching. Create content and meet goals of social media campaigns to engage the PIC community. Coordinate & produce quarterly video testimonial campaigns. Develop and execute a marketing plan to strengthen brand cohesion, consistency, and effectiveness. Create & distribute PIC’s weekly opportunities emails and bi‑monthly accomplishments newsletter & maintain a virtual calendar of PIC events. Coordinate/participate in community events to increase awareness of PIC coaching. Maintain knowledge of PIC coaching model and on‑the‑ground insights. Support creation of PIC‑sponsored educational & social events for coaches, members, grads, and partners, helping to strengthen the full PIC community.
