Food Service Manager 2

Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a Food Services Manager 2 for Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center, a 365‑bed community hospital located in Montclair, NJ. The manager will oversee a team serving patient meals and supporting cafeteria retail. In this role you will be part of the Sodexo management team, reporting to the Food GM. The schedule is primarily Monday‑Friday, but may include some weekends and evening shifts. At this location, parking and meals are free for employees. What You'll Do Manage all daily food operations through hourly and supervisory frontline associates Maintain food and health & safety logs within Sodexo and hospital guidelines and requirements Ensure trainings remain up to date for all hourly associates, for both Sodexo and hospital related trainings Effectively mentor and develop the food services team Implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering and patient services Cultivate effective interpersonal relationships with patients, customers, and clients in hospital What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
