Preschool Assistant Teacher

Support a nurturing, Montessori-inspired classroom for preschool-aged children and mixed early childhood ages as a Preschool Assistant Teacher. Work alongside lead and assistant teachers to help create a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment, with family communication handled as needed by the lead teacher.
Responsibilities
- Assist with classroom activities and Montessori-inspired learning experiences.
- Supervise preschool-aged children and mixed early childhood groups.
- Provide positive behavior guidance and support children’s social development.
- Monitor classroom safety and respond to children’s needs.
- Maintain an organized, prepared, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher and other assistant teachers.
- Support as-needed family communication under the direction of the lead teacher.
Required Qualifications
- Early Childhood Education qualification.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in early childhood education.
- Coursework in early childhood education.
- Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification.
