Preferred Education MBA or equivalent business-related experience preferred Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities Minimum 5 years of category management, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiation experience within the software category. Extensive negotiation and contracting expertise Software negotiation and contracting experience. Specifically, the enterprise software titles, like Salesforce, Microsoft, Oracle, etc. Infrastructure negotiation and contracting experience. Specifically, cloud providers such as AWS, Google, Azure, and Oracle Cloud. Experience with niche software providers that provide direct value for lines of business. Specifically, insurance software, claims, contact center, or other functional software that directly supports the insurance industry. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret spend data, market insights and performance metrics. Demonstrated success negotiating and structuring commercial agreements. Excellent stakeholder influence and relationship management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management skills, including leading cross-functional sourcing initiatives. Knowledge of change management and continuous improvement methodologies.
