Position Control Technician

Job Title

Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge of: Principles and practices of position control management and personnel administration. Provisions of the California Education Code and other laws related to certificated and classified personnel. Computer-based accounting systems, data management, and modern office software. District policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreement protocols. Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, and basic mathematical computations. Ability to: Perform complex technical duties with speed and accuracy under pressure. Maintain confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information. Create clear, comprehensive reports and maintain complex tracking systems. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the public. Use independent judgment to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines. Education and Experience A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in public administration, human resources, business, accounting, or a closely related field, AND two (2) years of experience in an accounting or human resources environment. License: Possession of a valid California Driver's License and an insurable driving record.
