Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry for a travel assignment in Kansas City, MO. This role involves working within a fast-paced cardiac telemetry unit equipped with advanced medical technologies. Nurses will be expected to float to areas within competency as needed.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Telemetry

• Provide care with a patient ratio of 1:4
• Read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips
• Perform IV insertions, NGT placement and maintenance, and chest tube maintenance
• Administer and titrate IV medication such as insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone
• Manage post cardiac procedural care (ablations, cardiac catheterizations, Post Op Day 1 Open Heart, permanent pacemaker placements)

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Telemetry

• Cardiac Telemetry or PCU/ICU experience
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications
• Experience with post cardiac procedural care
