New York State | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

The Clinical Support Assistant serves as a liaison between patients and providers, helping ensure smooth communication, accurate documentation, and efficient office operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison between patients, physicians, and clinical staff.
• Answer calls, route messages, and provide general medical office support for multiple providers.
• Complete patient forms and obtain medical records as needed.
• Schedule and navigate using multiple EMR systems.
• Process prescription renewal requests and forward them appropriately.
• File medical and administrative correspondence for the department.
• Communicate regularly with patients, staff, and medical providers.
• Support patient flow and help maintain efficient office operations.
• Assist with additional administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of administrative or clerical experience required.
• Medical office experience preferred, especially in a pediatric or specialty setting.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-directed, self-motivated, and able to multitask effectively.
• Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with medical office workflow and patient communication preferred.
