Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Registered Nurse - Travel

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 36 hours per week | 12-hour shifts | 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a mixed medical ICU setting serving trauma, neurosurgical, medical, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Maintain a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with remote and on-unit telemetry monitoring
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
• Float to cardiac and stroke units as needed, with a maximum 3:1 patient ratio when floating
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Comply with facility call-off policies, including rescheduling on weekends or holidays as directed by management

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• TCAR certification must be completed prior to start date
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Willingness to float to other regional facilities as needed with a minimum of 2 hours advance notice

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with trauma, neurosurgical, or mixed medical ICU patient populations
• Experience working in cardiac or stroke unit environments
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring, both remote and on-unit
