Production Assembler (Manufacturing) | Details and Compensation:

• Location: Sumter, SC 29153 - 100% on-site
• Payrate: $15.90/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
  • Rotating 12-hour schedule: 3 days on / 2 off / 2 on / 3 off (schedule may change based on business needs)

Production Assembler (Manufacturing) | Summary and Highlights:


The Production Assembler (Manufacturing) operates and supports production/packaging equipment to meet daily quality, productivity, and safety standards in a climate-controlled environment. This role performs routine packing and labeling, completes required quality checks and documentation, and supports smooth operations by assisting with housekeeping and reporting equipment issues.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Production Assembler (Manufacturing) | Responsibilities:

• Operate production/packaging equipment while meeting quality, productivity, waste, and safety goals
• Pack and label product according to specifications
• Perform required quality checks and document results as needed
• Maintain accurate production/downtime/quality records
• Notify technical personnel of equipment malfunctions and support troubleshooting communication
• Use batch numbers as assigned in SAP and label cartons with correct batch/product information
• Perform general housekeeping duties throughout the shift
• Follow all safety, environmental procedures, and quality system requirements (QSR)

Production Assembler (Manufacturing) | Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Dependable work history and strong work ethic (1-2 years with previous employer)
• Comfortable using basic hand tools (preferred)
• Willingness to work a rotating schedule and support extended hours as needed
