A leading global law firm is seeking a Conflicts Attorney who can be based in any of its U.S. offices, including Century City, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Orange County, Palo Alto, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.

The Conflicts Attorney will handle all aspects of conflicts clearance for new clients, new matters, and lateral attorney hires. The role involves analyzing conflict reports and resolving issues, including obtaining waivers and drafting ethics wall memos. The attorney will also review new matter requests and draft engagement letters for compliance with firm policy and professional responsibility rules. The role works directly with partners on complex conflicts issues and approvals, reviews client outside counsel guidelines, and supervises Resolution Analysts. It also includes building screening restrictions with the professional responsibility committee and information governance, and developing practice-area frameworks for conflicts analysis. The position reports to the Director, Conflicts Attorneys & Assistant General Counsel and works closely with the Office of General Counsel and Legal Operations.

Candidates must have a JD, an active bar license, and at least 3 years of experience as an attorney in a conflicts department. They should have strong knowledge of conflict-of-interest principles across jurisdictions and familiarity with tools such as Intapp, D&B Hoovers, CapIQ, and BvD. The annual compensation range is $220,000–$240,000, plus discretionary, performance-based bonuses.
