Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred or a Technical Degree with 8+ years of related aircraft experience • Experience in design, analysis, and/or aircraft systems or structure• Project Management experience leading a cross functional team on a new or modified development programDesired Skills• Has C-130 Technical domain knowledge like Software, Avionics, Aircraft or Systems• Demonstrated understanding of Program planning and management of complex program issues• Experienced at reporting program progress to senior leadership• Must have strong inter-personal skills, have the ability to work within a team, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment• Demonstrated proficiency in developing proposals and execution of programs • Ability to author initial design and follow-on Statement of Work language• Understanding of Technical Supplier/Sub-Contract Management and Integration• Demonstrated communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases• Demonstrated ability to coordinate technical planning across a broad range of stakeholders• Risk and Opportunity Identification experience• Accept responsibility, accountability and exercise authority to ensure cost, schedule, and technical success.• Demonstrated proficiency using MS ProjectPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
