Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA’s disability benefits process. Key responsibilities include: Conducting in-person disability assessments for Veterans. Reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal. Documenting exam findings accurately and completing VA forms. Providing medical opinions based on assessment findings (without treatment or prescribing medication). Qualifications and skills: Active, unrestricted NP or PA license. Proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based portals. Strong analytical, time management, and empathetic communication skills. This role involves: Full-time, in-person assessments with a caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily.
