About the Position

Join a highly respected community-based cancer program in Minnesota providing exceptional Hematology and Oncology care with the support of an integrated regional cancer network. We're seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner  for a part-time locum assignment with an outpatient focus and collaborative inpatient support.

Position Highlights

• Location: Minnesota
• Specialty: Hematology/Oncology (NP or PA)
• Start Date: ASAP
• ⏰ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Coverage Needed: 2–3 shifts per week
• Hospital-based outpatient oncology practice

Practice Details

• Outpatient-focused Hematology/Oncology clinic with inpatient collaboration as needed
• Manage patients with:
  • Solid tumor cancers
  • Hematologic malignancies and disorders
• 11–16 patients per day
• EPIC EMR
• Collaborative, multidisciplinary care team including:
  • Hematologist/Oncologists
  • Oncology Nurse Navigator
  • Infusion Nursing Team
  • Oncology Research Nurse
  • Oncology Social Worker
  • Dietitian
  • Financial Navigator
  • Oncology Provider Coordinator
  • Rehabilitation & Survivorship Services
  • Palliative Care & Genetic Counseling (Telehealth)
• On-site PET, MRI, CT, Laboratory, and Infusion Center
• Access to clinical trials through AHCI and NCI-supported research programs

Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Minnesota license required (Minnesota is not part of the Nurse Licensure Compact or APRN Compact)
• Hematology/Oncology experience preferred
