This 605-bed facility operates as a Level I Trauma Center providing specialized hematology and oncology services in an outpatient clinic setting. The facility utilizes the EPIC EMR system to support coordinated, high-quality patient care across clinical teams. Established clinical protocols are in place to facilitate quality cancer and blood disorder care delivery.

Kentucky offers a range of attractions suited to varied interests, including natural wonders such as caverns, caves, and the Red River Gorge. The state is notable for its equestrian culture, with venues such as Churchill Downs and Kentucky Horse Park drawing visitors throughout the year, and Keeneland racetrack hosting racing seasons in April and October. Specialty museums, breweries, guided tours, and resort state parks further contribute to the array of regional offerings available to clinicians on assignment.

The hematologist/oncologist will provide outpatient hematology and oncology clinic coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, managing 15-18 patients per day. No call coverage is required for this assignment. The facility is open to clinicians working in a hybrid on-site and telehealth capacity. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system for patient encounters and treatment planning activities.
