Work Environment

The standard work hours for this position are from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, giving you the work-life balance necessary for optimal job satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients to establish their immediate and long-term physical therapy needs, and develop tailored care plans accordingly.
• Deliver individualized treatment sessions, utilizing a blend of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, ensuring each patient receives focused and attentive care during every visit.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions that emphasize non-surgical alternatives, aiming to reduce medication reliance.
• Design fitness and wellness programs that are customized to each patient's lifestyle, capabilities, and rehabilitation goals.
• Encourage and motivate patients by tracking their progress and celebrating their milestones throughout the treatment journey.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Maintain precise documentation of patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans using EMR software, particularly Web PT.
• Continuously assess the effectiveness of treatment methods, making necessary adjustments to maximize recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, lifestyle modifications, and the importance of physical activity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Phoenix Spine and Sports Medicine, you will engage with a diverse range of patients, including athletes, post-operative individuals, and those with chronic pain conditions. Your role will focus on helping these patients regain their functional abilities and return to their daily activities or sports with confidence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current, active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with a clean record and no history of sanctions.
• Proven expertise in outpatient orthopedic care, with substantial experience in manual therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with using EMR systems, especially Web PT, to document patient care accurately and efficiently.
• Knowledge of current and effective physical therapy practices, supported by research and ongoing education.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in designing and implementing successful exercise rehabilitation programs.
• Prior work in a sports medicine facility or similar outpatient setting is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate patients and adapt treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
