Purpose: Responsible for performing a variety of electrical services to ensure efficient operation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Assist with the installation and repair of electrical systems and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.
- Assist with the installation of power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment including connecting power supply wires to machines and equipment, following electrical code and blueprint, using hand tools and voltage testers.
- Assist in the diagnosing of malfunctioning apparatus and replace broken or damaged wires and cables.
- Assist with the replacement of faulty electrical components of machines, such as relays, switches, circuit breaker panels, and motors.
- Responsible for observing functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
- Assist with the development and implementation of service and maintain electrical programs ensuring efficient operations.
- Must participate in rotating shift work and on-call situations as required by departmental management.
- Perform job duties within time standards set by departmental management.
- Maintain accurate records and logs as departmental policies dictates.
- Ensure compliance with all Human Resource policies and procedures, promoting an environment that treats all people with respect, and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
- Must possess a valid California Driver's License.
- Minimum of 3 years of electrical work experience.
- Proficient in the usage of tools related to the electrical industry.
- Must be able to read sketches and blueprints.
- Any other duties as assigned.
