Regional Billing Coordinator

As an Area Billing Coordinator, you oversee billing and accounting operations for multiple Sunrise communities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong financial performance. What You’ll Do Manage billing, accounts receivable, collections, and accounts payable Process resident move-ins, move-outs, rate changes, and ancillary charges Monitor AR aging and lead collection efforts on delinquent accounts Support Medicaid billing and annual rate increases (as applicable) Ensure timely, accurate monthly billing and accounting deliverables Monitor expenses, KPIs, and budget performance Maintain financial controls and complete Monthly Key Controls Checklist Support audits and maintain organized financial records Partner with Executive Directors and community teams on financial matters Serve as primary billing contact for assigned communities You play a critical role in protecting revenue integrity and supporting operational success across your regional cluster. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred 2+ years accounting or financial experience (senior living or healthcare preferred) Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and integrity Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required) Ability to manage multiple communities and priorities Sunrise offers growth opportunities and a collaborative environment where your financial expertise makes a measurable impact.
