What You'll Do:

• Design and provide educationally relevant speech-language therapy aligned with IEP goals.
• Conduct screenings (Child Find, new students, designated grades) and interpret results.
• Serve as case manager for identified speech-only students; prepare reports, prior written notices, EMIS coding, and other required documentation.
• Communicate evaluation results clearly to families and staff, both orally and in writing.
• Implement evidence-based treatment techniques for speech-language disorders (expressive/receptive language, voice, articulation, fluency, pragmatics, auditory/visual processing).
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities.
• Document therapy progress and modify interventions as needed.
• Help develop educational goals that are measurable, attainable, and relevant.
• Participate in team meetings and comprehensive assessments to plan appropriate services.
• Use positive behavioral interventions to support functional skills and student independence.

What You'll Bring:

• Valid Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board license.
• Ohio Department of Education Pupil Services license as a school speech-language pathologist.
• Knowledge of evidence-based speech-language therapy techniques.
• Experience with IEP development, case management, and progress documentation.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality, high performance, and professional ethics.
• Satisfactory fingerprinting and criminal records check results (provided for free by MCESC!).
