Reporting Accountant

Reporting Accountant (Contract – 15 October 2027) The City of Newcastle is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Reporting Accountant to join the Corporate Finance team on a contract basis until 15 October 2027. The role is a key contributor to financial reporting, budgeting and analysis that supports strategic decision‑making across one of the region's largest and most diverse organisations. Responsibilities Contribute to monthly reporting and quarterly budget reviews. Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights. Develop and maintain robust financial processes. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data. Support the administration of enterprise budgeting systems. Collaborate with the Reporting & Systems Lead and Business Partnering Lead.
