Emergency Room Registered Nurse

$2942.82/week - Job Summary: Seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trauma and acute care, with the ability to manage a diverse patient population including pediatric and adult cases. Responsibilities: Assess and prioritize patient care needs upon arrival to ensure timely treatment. Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy in accordance with established protocols. Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias, manage multisystem organ failure, and provide support for ventilated patients. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Document patient information accurately in the EPIC system and communicate effectively with team members. Respond swiftly to emergency situations, including trauma, neuro injuries, or infections. Qualifications: Hold a current NY state nursing license. Possess a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an emergency or trauma setting. Be certified in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC. Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC, Pyxis, and SBAR communication systems. Have completed at least 24 hours of unit orientation.
