EMT or Paramedic (PRN)

Medcor is looking to hire an EMT or Paramedic on a PRN basis (as‑needed) to be an Onsite Health Technician at our construction site clinic in Goodyear, Arizona. The hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 4:00 am – 5:00 pm with occasional Saturdays. Hours may vary or change based on client needs. Applicants should feel comfortable working in a construction environment, be able to climb stairs, and work at heights as needed. Since this is on an as‑needed basis there are no guaranteed hours. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with medical and operational leadership at Medcor, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure. Provide patient care and ongoing workers’ compensation case management. Facilitate Return to Work (RTW) program and monitor treatment plans. Work closely with outside medical providers. Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on‑site clinic. Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees. Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols, MCPs). Build and maintain internal team relationships. Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts. Pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings. Documentation of care using state‑of‑the‑art EMR and other tools. Physical Assessment Testing (PATs). Case Management and medical charting. OSHA record‑keeping. Qualifications Have valid licensure for the position you are applying for (EMT or Paramedic). Current CPR/BLS certification. Ability to lift a 50‑lb emergency response bag. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Positive, outgoing personality and ability to go above and beyond. Passion for people and providing the best care possible. Strong team orientation and willingness to have fun on the job. Preferred Qualifications Comfortable working in a construction environment.
